UPWARD uses limited playback statistics to count film starts, completions, total minutes played, and how often broad parts of the film are watched. An unfinished watch is estimated from starts minus completions. These statistics are used only to improve the film and its website. There are no advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

The playback database keeps daily totals, including counts for forty parts of the film, and random event-only IDs to avoid counting a network retry twice. IDs older than one day and totals older than 90 days are removed when another event arrives. It does not keep a history of any person's viewing. We do not put names, accounts, IP addresses, device details, or webcam information in that database.

This preference applies if playback statistics are enabled on the site. Your choice is saved only in this browser. Browser privacy signals are also respected. Return to the film.
